The book is the third volume of Diane Arbus’ artwork and it is also the only one dedicated to a specific project. Photographs have been taken from 1969 to 1971 during the last year of her life, into a center for disable people. The book is followed by a post-face made by Doon Arbus, the artist’s daughter.
