The book collects a number of black and white images taken by Ugo Mulas while travelling to New York. The result is a precise description of the American art world during the 60’s through a number of photographs of artists such as Warhol, Rauschenberg, Segal and Lichtenstein among others. The volume is not just a simple documentation of reality, on the contrary, it is an evocative interpretation of that time made by the author. Critical texts by Alan Solomon.
