Lorenzo is an Italian photographer, based in Lecce. Starting from an accurate analysis of the surrounding reality, he portrays common objects, indoor environments and urban places that he later gathers together in themed series of pictures. Through his camera, he tries to order the great chaos generated by fast contemporary days, which usually results in overelaborated pictures. “I think the photographer should give to the observers all the instruments they need to analyze details, even the most common ones, those which are usually ignored as our sight is catched by other distractions”. In May 2012 his work was exhibited in Bruxelles, at the "European Parliament". In October, he won the "Impossible Talent Prize" during the ISO 600 photo-festival, in Milan. Fade Point gathers together a series of shots taken in the Southern Italian beaches. The series investigates the strong evanescence of things, beyond the appearance of which everything ceases to be “true.” Here, architectures and colors dominate the scene under a veil of mystery and secrecy. Everything stays blurry and imperfect. The sea recalls the flow of thoughts, in a dreamlike manner.
