About the photographer

Lorenzo is an Italian photographer, based in Lecce. Starting from an accurate analysis of the surrounding reality, he portrays common objects, indoor environments and urban places that he later gathers together in themed series of pictures. In May 2012 his work was exhibited in Bruxelles, at the "European Parliament". In October, he won the "Impossible Talent Prize" during the ISO 600 photo-festival, in Milan. In 2015 his work was mentioned in Sony Photography Awards. He exhibited in Classic Camera Gallery in Lecce, and Sakura Galerie in Paris. [...]

Untitled #18

From: Bootleg

Limited edition to: 5 + 2 AP

2012 / Italy / Analogue

Bootleg is a series of Polaroid photos collecting tiny urban details, something inserted into the city but that do not belong to it. The architecture is nothing more than a “connection” between what is real and what is invisible, like an echo of metaphysical thinking leading to the presence of shadow and light. Not only they represent shapes or places familiar to the collective consciousness, but they also try and bring upon the observers the idea of dreams and optical illusions.
