Lorenzo Papadia

Lorenzo Papadia

Lorenzo is an Italian photographer, based in Lecce. Starting from an accurate analysis of the surrounding reality, he portrays common objects, indoor environments and urban places that he later gathers together in themed series of pictures. Through his camera, he tries to order the great chaos generated by fast contemporary days, which usually results in overelaborated pictures. “I think the photographer should give to the observers all the instruments they need to analyze details, even the most common ones, those which are usually ignored as our sight is catched by other distractions”. In May 2012 his work was exhibited in Bruxelles, at the “European Parliament”. In October, he won the “Impossible Talent Prize” during the ISO 600 photo-festival, in Milan. In 2015 his work was mentioned in Sony Photography Awards. He exhibited in Classic Camera Gallery in Lecce, and Sakura Galerie in Paris.
